"Filipinos in Juneau" Book Project
The Filipino Community, Inc. has embarked on a project to produce a pictorial book documenting the history of Filipinos in Juneau; a documentary series supported by the Filipino American National Historical Society.

Collection of photos from the earliest Filipino settlers in Juneau is being sought. We are requesting assistance to obtain photos to be used in this project. If you have photos that can be shared, please contact us. Your photos will be copied and the originals will be returned to you.

Additionally, the intent of this project is to document Filipinos who came to Juneau and chose to reside in Juneau, from the earliest descendants to those who continue to reside in Juneau today. Old photos with a brief description of no more than 70 words per photo is requested.
